wine tasting where you can bring your own food and picnic in
their lodge = awesome

yes, this is where they filmed mystic pizza!!!  we walked
around the historic port, had lunch, took a carriage ride,
saw the old whaling boat they were restoring...we had a
great time.  sunny, but cold.

David and Charity have a play set in their backyard!





yale library -it was very beautiful and inspirational



Angelyn was our personal tour guide.  good to know
someone who works there, since she was able to
get us into areas we would not have been able to
access otherwise.

it's the real deal.

yale rare books and manuscripts library.  we saw the

gutenberg bible.  the walls are made of thin marble

that the light eminates through, but does not allow direct
sunlight that would ruin the books



goodbye David and Charity's house...we missed the snow
storm by three days!
